20th February 2014, Dharna in protest against Government policies

FCDP tied hands with the fishermen community and joined in a Dharna protesting against the Government policies, which are bound to hamper the lives of people in the coastal region. This was conducted to raise the voices of the affected people against the decision of the Government to set up two bio gas plants and a cement facility in the coastal belt. The concern was regarding the pollution and the health hazards that this set up would cause to the people. Eminent leaders from Kerala Swatanthara Thozhilali Federation and the FCDP Director, Fr.Sunny Uppan voiced their concerns at the gathering.
